Am in need of one of the big green crystal`s for the top of the necron monolith.

Don't have one to sell or trade, sorry.

But to clean off the spray paint, probably the best way is to scrape it off with a hobby knife. Just scrape like you are removing the mold lines from a mini. Be careful not to try to scrape off too much at one time. When done, a light sanding with wet/dry sandpaper in increasingly finer grades will take care of the scraping marks. You can finish up with a polishing of toothpaste and a soft cloth, this should get it back to almost clear. If you want it to get it all the way back to transparent, you can find polishing compound for plastics on the internet. Wish I could tell you of an easier process, but at least I can vouch that this procedure works. DAMHIKT!

Recommend you try the procedures below on an expendable green rod first - whilst I know it can work on plastic - I'm not sure if it will effect the clear green necron rods / crystal.

Soak in a bath of "Dettol" overnight and scrub with a toothbrush.

I've also heard good things regarding the use of brake fluid DOT4 / DOT 3 - again not sure if its determental to the green clear plastic but again it works with 'normal' plastic minis. Only problem here is disposal of the brake fluid.
