this is brand new and still in its packet. FW sell these for £7... i would be happy with £4.

- Cadian Kasrkin Stormtroopers 1 & 2
these are brand new and complete (backpacks and bases included), straight out of the blister (i bought a pack of 3 to try out a paint scheme and only used the 3rd model). GW sell these for £2.50 each... i would be happy with £3 for the pair.

- Catachan Heavy Flamer (the one on the left).
also brand new and complete (heavy flamer and base included), straight out of the blister (we bought a pack of 2 but only needed one). GW sells these as a pair for £8... i would be happy with £2 for him.

- Eversor Assassin with Executioner Pistol (here).

he was based and painted a long time ago, and the paint has chipped. also, the needle has snapped off the end of his pistol, but im sure it wouldnt be too hard to replace if you wanted to. GW sells them for £8... i would be happy with £2.50 for him.

- OOP Imperial Guard Commissar #3 (3rd from the left, top row).
i dont have any arms for him, but he is as new (still has flash etc). i will include a base. i bought him at a wargames show for £1.50 a few years ago, and i would be happy to get that for him.

- Imperial Guard Heavy Weapon chasis (like here).
this goes with the Mordian Gunner and wheel already in my OP (still needs one more wheele though). i would be happy with £1.50 for the chasis, wheel and gunner as a lot.

i have a pile of these - if you need some let me know and we can make a deal. (good thing about these is that they can be posted between two sheets of card in an envelope as a normal letter, so postage will be minimal)

theres a Mordian Heavy Weapon gunner, the legs for the Cadian gunner (see below), 6 Heavy Weapon trollies (2 missing 1 wheel each, as shown), and some Storm Troopers (Sergeant w/Plasma Pistol, Auspex & Bolter plus 1 Trooper w/Hellgun, both have gasmasks) - still in blister (from 1999 lol).

im not sure if anyone needs any, but ive also got lots of 25mm slottabases (with the slots precut) spare. personally i prefer to cut the tabs off models and use the ones without slots, so ive built up quite a collection of spares.

i bought them primarily for the robed marines (which i have removed, along with some other bits), but i have no use for the DA specific bits still on the sprues. there are 10 sprues in total (4 of the one with the Terminator Legs, 4 with the Terminator Assault Cannon, and a pair of RW accessory sprues, the one with bike extras and the one with Landspeeder bits).

i got these at Games Day but ive never had a use for them. ive taken a few minor bits off the sprues (mainly shoulder pads and those little ball things that look like bombs), but the essential bits are all still there (heads, bodies, arms, legs, rifles) to make 12 Kroot (GW sell these in boxes of 16 for £18, to give you some idea of what these are worth new).

Im open to offers - i'd rather sell whole sprues (or whole sets of sprues) than canabilise them for bits. i can try to sort out some bases if you really need them. if you are interested i can either send the sprues in jiffy bags or clip all the pieces off the sprues and put them in a box or something - its up to you. postage would be whatever Royal Mail charges me, and packaging would depend on if you want me to buy jiffy bags etc to send them in - i dont want to make anything on P&P. i would prefer payment by cheque, although i could also take GW vouchers (all proceeds going back to GW anyway ).

i could swap for bits, but im having a hard time thinking of anything i need that im not getting as part of a boxed set or blister pack that im going to buy anyway (ive already done 2 bits orders with GW this year)... you wouldnt happen to have any Tau Gun Drones still on the sprues, would you? i was going to order 10 of those from GW at some point, so any i get now will save me money later.

if anyone else is interested in anything, please post. also, could those that are interested state how they would like it delivered (should i clip the bits off the sprues and put them in little bags a box? or do you want me to use jiffy bags or something?).

il also need to know who wants what: for example, NorseWarrior, will you still want sprues 2, 7 & 8 if Morty has sprue 5? if not, Morty, would you still want sprue 6 if NorseWarrior has sprue 5? would anyone like any more sprues than they've already expressed an interest in, now that you know how much i want for them/that i can trade (or if they dont have sprue 5)?
EDIT: it might be worth you both discussing what you want off the sprue - afterall, if you are both hoping to use different bits, there is no reason why i cant split it between you both in whatever way you agree on.

cheques are best for payment, rather than transfer (i dont like sending bank info across the interwebs). as to Gundrones: do you think a trade of 2 Drones per DA sprue is fair (GW sells them for £2 new)? i need anywhere up to and including 10 (ive already got plenty of flying stands though, so dont worry about those).

as to postage, i wont know how much it will be until ive packed it up however you want it and taken it to the post office to have it measured/weighed (and you obviously wont be able to write any cheques until you know how much to make them out for). in the case of a trade, postage will just cancel out, so there will be no need to worry about that: il pay the postage to send the DA sprues, you pay the postage to send the Drones sprues (although you will have to excuse me if i pack them as bits in a box to keep cost down - ive already got a box from my last GW order).

Hi Tim

I want sprue 5 and 6....

Primarily for the Ravenwing bike upgrade pieces, fairings, banner poles etc. (split across both sprues)

Secondarily - I want the assault cannons (on sprue 6)

If the Ravenwing bike pieces from sprue 5 are not available (e.g sprue goes to someone else) then I have little use for sprue 6 - I can live without the assault cannons.

I'm happy to receive the components - which ever way is going to give me the cheapest postage options (without damaging the bits) - presumably this will be sniped off the sprue and posted in some form of padded envelope?

I think that covers all the questions?

To be honest, I really want sprue 5. Those are the bits I plan on using for my Deathwing vehicles... I don´t really need the rest of them unless I get sprue 5, I could make a trade with the local GW here in Oslo. So I am not talking about life or death, but i will buy sprue 2,5,7,8 if that is possible, if not, no problem. I have (need to double check this) 10 gundrone sprues... How would you see a trade happening, and will 4 of your sprues be a fair trade with 10 gun-drones sprues?

NorseWarrior - You mentioned Deathwing vehicles - presumably you're mostly interested in the Dark Angel icons from sprue 5? Do you need the 3 x Ravenwing 'fairings' aswell?

I only really need the 3 Ravenwing 'fairings' from sprue 5 and that combined with sprue 6 will allow me to upgrade / make 3 complete Ravenwing bikers.

Just wondering if we can make some kind of deal between the three of us? Failing that I'll happily conceed the purchase to Norsewarrior, since you're buying the most and have most to offer to Tim.

first off, sorry for my lateness in getting back to this thread. fatherhood combined with a nasty headache today has kept me off the PC until now.

yeah, i will snip them off (il try to remove the pieces leaving a little of the sprue still attached where possible, so you can do the final cuts yourself) and pop them in little polythene baggies (so the bits wont be loose) and put them in a small cardboard box (the kind GW send out), which i will tape shut. as ive already got the boxes this means packaging wont cost anything.

yeah its no problem for me to clip the RW bike fairings off that sprue.

il try to get the the post office tomorrow afternoon (i need to go into town anyway, as my 40K order should have come in - i was meant to have gone in today but my head was killing me).

il take the models in boxes with me and get a quote for the postage (both to you in Oxfordshire and to Norse Warrior in Oslo, Norway). il PM you with the total amount and as long as you are happy we can exchange addresses, you can mail me the cheque and i can pop back to the post office to send the sprue (+ fairings).

@Norse Warrior: if you are happy with doing the trade we can swap addresses by PM as well, and i can post the sprues to you.

anyone else interested in anything, please post ASAP - that way i can get postage quotes for you at the same time tomorrow (il probably go out between 11 AM and 2 PM, UK time, and il aim to check this thread before i leave).

p.s. EDIT:
- ive clipped the 3 fairings off sprue 5, and put them in a bag with sprue 6 and put them in a box, for Morty.
- ive put the rest of sprue 5, plus sprues 2, 7 & 8 each in a separate bag and put them all in a box, for Norse Warrior.
- i was basically able to cut each sprue in half to fit perfectly in the boxes - i didnt need to touch any of the components themselves when snipping, so you get to make the final cuts yourselves. there was also room for some bubble wrap (which i had leftover from old ebay purchases) in each box.
