THUNDERHAWK FOR SALE

Postby IMF2000 » Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:33 am

Howdy all, I've decided to sell my Thunderhawk that was seen at the AOS Warhammer world meet up.

Reason for sale? I've been spending time working on one of my other hobbies and the TH is not getting enough use.

I bought this model for 360GBP recently and have since adapted it by installing a removable Mahogany base so that it can be used in Apoc games.

I'll take £350 for the model plus postage. Collection is desirable to avoid the risk of damage to this impressive model.

The photos look great, but photos are never as good as in the Flesh. I can't afford the model myslf, but i have seen it for real and anyone who might be interested I have to say that IMH it's well worth it. Go on - you know you want to! :)

£250, not a penny more coz I'll have to spray it green anyways. :D

I can't pay more than that coz I could have had one for ages at £250 but was holding out for £200 :P

I think Spack's mate Pete bought it in the end... the git ;)

Actually... let me be serious for a second. I am prepared to offer you £350.oo for it in GW goods. I will allow you to order £350 worth of models from the boxsets and blisters on the GF site.

So, which new army were you considering? :D:D:D

Sorry King, my offer is 350GBP, if I can't reach it here then it will go to ebay. :)

I'm probably going to sell 5K points worth of sealed SM boxed sets as I haven't the time to make them all, so no I don't need any more atm :P

 Don't say this is you starting the great give up? if you can weather the storm (boxes in garages, attics etc) it will save you that fist biting a year or two on when you have to restock.(and your minis appreciate fairly well)
kmb (always hates to lose 40kers..even though he moans non stop.. and had to restock after giving up in 94)
If you have to sell..sell a week or two after the new codex comes out all the boomers will be jumping on ebay and such buying up at silly prices to buy XX units that got bumped (which most did)

KMB, I'm not giving up 40k (far from it) but my time is spread so thinly that I have time to read the books, play the game and occasionally build/paint the odd special model. I don't have the time to do a whole army and thinking about it, it seems silly since I already have a painted SM army :P

Only one? Pfft. What kind of Space Marine player are you? I have two SM armies, three IG armies, Ordo Xenos, and Tau. Now that is the sign of a true Games Workshop addict...I mean "Hobbyist". ;)
