wanted: converted warlocks/farseers on jetbikes

Postby kongnico » Sat May 17, 2008 1:58 am

as said in the topic - i want to buy converted warlocks/farseers on jetbikes.

The equipment for them are not very important, although i would prefer singing spears - good condition is a must, and i will of course pay the shipping.. give me a shout, cheers :)

I don't want to trade mine, but they are dead easy to do.

Ignore the paint job on the warlock, it is very old (yes that is an eldar power fist!!!).

Cheers for that, appreciated! :D

The farseer is just straight out of the blister, base tab removed, pinned to a vyper, with the heavy weapon cradle seat assembled differently.

It really was easy.

The warlock was just dremelled in half, pinned to a guardian jetbikers legs, then a bit of green stuff/modelling clay to blend it in.

If this is patronising ignore it or tell me off.

These were some of the earliest conversions I made.
I had always been scared to start cutting stuff up for fear I would ruin it.

Truth is, a dremmel and a chainsaw I bought off ebay (from someone called leatherface apparently) opened my eyes for model mutilation.

It really is easy to do.
If you haven't tried sculpting stuff, find a crappy old model you don't care about and some stuff/modelling clay and just muck about.
Try blending smooth armour with forrowed cloaks (use a fair bit of water for smoothness).

You'll save yourself a bomb.
