Hi guys.

I need as many pots of the stuff I can get my hands on because I only just found out they were discontinued awhile back (I know, how on the pulse am i?) and I use it as the basecoat to my entire army.

Anyone got any spare pots of the stuff? I'll gladly trade or buy them off people.

They stopped midnight blue?
Oh crap, I've got about 40 chaos marines that need that stuff and about 1/4 of a pot left.

If it cannot be found, are there any other manufacturers that do a similar colour?
You can never tell looking at websites...

Cote D'arms used to make the paints for GW and they still manufacture the old colour ranges: http://www.blackhat.co.uk/coat_darms/paintsets.php - now owned by Black Hat Miniatrues.

Midnight blue might be after their time though (after GW switched to a French manufacturer) as I don't see it on this conversion chart: http://www.mbmmodels.com/coatdarms/gwequivalents.htm

I'll see if I still have a pot lying around. It could still be worth giving the guys at black hat miniatures a call and asking them.

EDIT: I don't have a pot I'm afraid.

Had a look on another forum and apparently Vallejo make two colours which are equivalents to midnight blue:

Dark Prussian Blue (899)
Night Blue (019)

Now just gotta find where they stock the stuff near me and if it actually works!

In my, albeit very limited, experience, necron abyss foundation paint is not a million miles off...
