When you do list it make sure it ends at a time when most buyers will likely be at home. Aim for a weekday evening between 7pm and 10pm except Friday, or a Sunday afternoon/evening. Easiest way to do this is list it for 7 days starting at a time within these slots. This way you maximise the chances of last minute/second sniping pushing the price up - I've often found myself watching the timer ticking down and firing in a bid with 20 seconds to go. When I sold my LEGO most of the final bids were right at the end, and I'm pretty sure I'd have ended up with much lower final prices had I listed them to end at any other time.

Listing to end on a Friday morning is the absolute worst thing to do; listing on a Tuesday around 9am with a 10 day auction. Due to the weekly maintenance on a Friday morning you will stop anyone posting last minute bids.

Friday and Saturday evenings should also be avoided as a lot of potential buyers will be out at the pub.

Another route (or even just extra advertising) would be on Facebook. There are plenty of Wargaming trading groups on there.

Well AgeofStrife does have a Facebook page.

We just need some posters to put comments on the pages.

Lol I've just sent out a tone of requests for people ot join the FB page most seem to have followed it. It wouldn't hurt to at least put link to the ebay auction on that page.

ok mate... could you do that once we find the free listing day.. I don't really wanna make an account on there unless I have to.

just priced up a new one from FW, wow are they now expensive. I'm sure I paid no more than £275 for mine all in, back in the day. Now £330 with the two weapons!!

So do we start bidding at £330 ?

Since that's the retail for an unpainted model, that would probably be a good place to start.

I'd go £320 - the tease getting it cheaper than few may encourage more bids and even if it went for only that u r getting more than u paid for it, notwithstanding the painting.

Just spoke with Ebay trying to find out about next free listing day.

As the item is selling for over £100 then the listing fee is £1.30. So all we save by waiting for free listing day is £1.30 :(

Private sellers starting auctions off at 99p get free listings anyways, on first 100 items, just thought I'd mention that.

So I'm going to go ahead and list this fella now, instead of waiting till (he couldn't say) next promotion is.

-So the day and time I propose is this Tuesday night at 7pm.
-Im gonna start the bidding at £300, just below the buying price of new like Herne said.
-I'll then ask Hunter to post it on CoolMini'. and link to the auction.
-And then anyone else who has contacts or suggestions on other social media, and who wouldn't mind linking it in would be awesome.
-Talus, time to earn your bit, I delegate to you, as your English is better than mine and I know you're bored :D to come up with a suitable and inspiring piece of salesmanship to sell the thing to an eskimo. Maybe TW could help too ;)

And have I covered everything?

You could just save time and the £1.30 by just shipping it directly to me for the cost of the shipping. I would be happy to give it a good smoke free home for it to live and thrive in.
