I bought those bits at GD. The books weren't for me, but I've added them to my "on order" list as I pre-ordered them a week or so ago.

You're Insane, but in a cool way.
I'm about to place a second 250 pound+ order, which will include my first full resin model - the Chaos Bloodthirster, for my Son's 31st birthday, and he better love it.

All the other stuff has just been conversion bits and bobs or half and half full kits.

Surely you can't have a life outside of the hobby, as you buy sooo much it'd take all your time to build them all...you do build them right?
Just wait for the REAL Apocalypse.
Then you'll see SHOCK & AWE.
Amen!

I have built most of them (I turned up with load at the WHW weekend, almost my entire DKoK army was resin, my Air Cav had flyers and resin conversions on almost all the IG, and my armoured company had a few resin turrets too :)), but I do still have a few to put together.

"Hi, my name's Dan, and I'm a FW addict" ...

Reminds me of a conversation I had a few months ago with a FW staffer on the phone who told me about a customer who spent thousands on an order, and then had to buy his wife a new kitchen to make up for it :P

A resin kitchen?

I bet that took a while to clean with soapy water and a toothbrush.

Not really...put the plug in, turn the taps on full, leave for a few hours, squirt in a bottle of washing liquid, scrub with a broom...done

List updated as new stuff has arrived this week.

The Minotaur is a hulking beast of a model, lots of resin and the only plastic parts are the 2 track sprues. The cannons can be made to recoil into the damper if you take the time with a 1.5mm drillbit to drill out the piston guides, photos in the instructions show you how. The crew options are a nice touch too - if you go loyalist you put a chair on a small hole that appears to be a damaged post, and the loyal crewmen (ugly model, bit like a sentinel pilot, I'll be replacing him with a DK Centaur driver most likely as I have a spare), but if you go renegade the crewman is standing and you leave the torn damaged post mount to make it look like the seat has been ripped out.

The Hades is small but has plenty of resin. The teeth sections fit together solidly, and the melta is inside them in the roof.

The Mole Launcher is a nice piece too, but expensive as it works out at £5 per model!

All in all very good, clean casts with no signs of warpage and almost no mould lines or flash.
