This formation is intended to represent (as well as capture the 'feel of') one of the 12 Space Wolf Great Companies. The formation does not follow the Space marine Codex so its size is not limited to that of a Battle Company (various sources give the approx strength of each Great Company as between 120 - 1000 marines) although it must follow some of the somewhat archaic rules of that Chapter. Also as there are no reserve companies from which to attach Speeder squadrons, Support tanks etc (which would be crewed by members of the Great Company itself) these are included as part of the organisation.

SM) in a Drop pod, Rhino or Razor Back so long as the unit (including attached Wolf Guard Pack Leader) can fit inside.
Space Wolf Scouts - These Elite recon specalists operate outside of the remit and control of the Wolf Lord's and so are not included as part of the Datasheet.
Assets:
Hungry for honour
- All units in the army may make a Scout move so long as they can draw
LOS to the Wolf Lord (or his Transport if embarked). This move is made after all models are deplyed but before the start of turn 1. Also this move cannot be a bike 'Turbo boost' or 'flat out' move by a skimmer and must follow the normal rules for scout moves.
- Also any that can draw
LOS to any character may be counted as being Stubborn for the purpose of Leadership tests (obviously this makes any SW character Stubborn). Long Fangs are always considered to be stubborn.
- If either the Wolflord and (if attached) Venerable Dreadnaught are slain/destroyed then leave the slain/destroyed model on the table. It now counts as an objective.
