Hi guys,

these are the first squad of renegade guardsmen for my new army. I have 2 platoons, a command squad, penal legion and primaris psyker converted and ready for painting.

Welcome to the site :)

First suggestion I'd have is move your pics to the Gallery - the forum attachment system is quite limited, and the pics are not visible to non-registered browsers. It's only generally useful for posting the odd pic or document. For a project log you'll likely find the gallery much more useful.

I am loving them models, I myself use a lot of empire stuff on my guard, it seems marauders also work just as well on them.

yeah - but you often have to make the marauder torsos slimmer (by removing some of the shoulder and moob) to make the arms fit.

I like the way there are individual models with great character but they look cohesive as a unit.
