estarriol, sounds like you're stressed out there.

Links are at the bottom of the forum index page - can you see them?

Nah, it's not that simple. We need 2 x Windows Server 2000 SP4, 1 x Windows Server 2003, and 1 x Windows XP. Also, you can't just clone a Windows install and run on the same domain due to the user SIDs needing to be different on each server.

As it is, Dell screwed up and put in a Dual Core Xeon instead of the Quad Core on the original order, so I can't even get started on it and might have to wait another 2 weeks for a new server :(

You use sysprep to overcome the SID issue :)

Ah, sysprep. Good point. I'll think about it, it might just be easier for me to just install W2K clean as it doesn't take much effort anyway.

Nah, this is the last one. We've got 2 new Dell servers consolidating 6 other machines now. If anyone wants a HP Netserver 2000LC PII 800MHz, 512MB RAM, with 6x18GB U3 SCSI drives and a DAT40 tape drive, it'll be available for collection as a freebit in a few days ;) I'd offer the other servers we've replaced, but they're in small pieces on a tip somewhere ...
