cheers

Well he should be able to sit down to play. Or rather, we will make him sit down and his partner can do the moving for him!

Just got a call from Stargod... he's got a week off sick and a knee as big as his head!

This means that we will be there, but he probably wont play.

Of course, having said that, it started to snow again about half an hour ago...

Argh! We've had about 2 inches of snow this afternoon in Brum, and it's still coming down hard with no sign of letting up. I had a couple of moments where I almost needed to change my underwear on the way home from work, luckily I was able to make use of the pavements to stop hitting the cars in front. My ABS has been working overtime, even with driving extremely carefully.

This'll make Saturday interesting - if the roads are clear enough and I don't damage my car I'll still be there though :)

Yikes! 8O
We had it just a bit worse, A week ago Tuesday we got 10" of snow accompanied with 40 knot winds. :(
Then this past Tuesday we got 3" of snow/rain mix on top of it. :o

I like that :)

Luckily never got that far - worse I've managed is a 180 degree spin onto the pavement on the opposite side of the road, almost ended up in a garden! Car was OK, although I did manage to take a chunk of the rim of an alloy wheel where it had clipped the kerb sideways

Just in case you think I'm joking, here's the view from my front door taken 2 minutes ago ... 8O

I've had to park the car at the top of the road where it levels out, otherwise I'll have trouble getting up the "hill" in the morning; it's only about a 30 degree incline, but having a rear wheel drive car with no limited slip in the diff means it tends to just slide sideways until it finds some grip.

It was the same last February too. We had to drive up to Nottingham in appalling conditions... but we made it in the end!

Just checked 'metcheck' seven day forecast. Nottingham looks like snow and rain early on Friday, then improving as the day goes on. SATURDAY for those travelling looks like cloudy but dry all day, with some sun breaking through. I don't think we're gonna get snowed into bugmans....... Damn.

OK cool... you know, Dan will be there through to halfway into the last game. Stargod could take over from Dan when he has to leave if he doesn't want to play all day. Of course that menas Dan wants to play too!

SNOW?

And I had to wear my sun glasses on the drive home today!

Right packing my combat boots then (Matt what is it with Nottingham - I dont recall ever being there without it having snowed!)

Okay regarding 'Bits'

Someone wanted shoulder pads (marine ones not glam rocker type ones)

Did some one not want a havoc launcher + Chaos Symbols off the chaos vehicle sprue - I found 1 sprue with a lot of these bits?

Ditto on some Guardsman backpacks off the heavy weapon sprues (8 backpacks)?
