I know that one - that one is excellent. Played it a few times now and it would play well in the tourney as long as the teams set up the markers fairly.

Not fussed, I'd rather be inclusive than exclusive :)

been thinkin.. (i know i shouldnt)
the only solution I can think of would be for you to take 2 forces using the tournament foc/750pts me do the same then flip a coin to see which you use, I do the same then the spare armies we swap and we each play solo.. but I'd like to hear what the other participants think..

Stunty,

I expect I can put together & bring enough models for 6 varient 750 point lists (but enough models to only use 2 or 3).

These can be used as 'house' armies if you want. The 'ghost' players can then roll a D6 for the armies they will use.

Does that help?

So no apoc players then?

Looks like its just gonna be normal gaming then. I'll leave An'ggrath at home then and the titan.

Anyone there Friday, or am I forced to play BANE all day :(

Earlier today Cobby informed me that he wouldn't be able to make it up on the Saturday until late afternoon due to family reasons, so he will be pulling out of the tournament. This gap can be filled by Jon-jo (ZhatanTheBlack) though if everyone is happy with that and it sorts out the ghost army problem....

If there's an odd number of players I don't mind pulling out - I've had a hell of a week and could do with a relaxing day ...

Maybe Slate and Jon-Jo can team up? We may have other players who don't arrive or who arrive and want to join in though too. Never mind - I'm sure we'll find some way of getting everyone involved. I wonder if we can come up with some system for next time where the numbers are less relevant. Bit hard with a doubles I suppose.

@ Spack - Could of sworn I handed a copy of the tourney book to Slate at the club last week? Unless he didn't take it with him. I can bring a spare copy with me.

@Stunty - You got everything ready you need pal? Slips of paper for name in the hat? Large hat? Iron resolve for all the awkward customers you've invited to this.... ;-)

@Spack - do you want to play anything during the tourny or you gonna lurk for the day?

@Herne - Yea I think I've got it sorted.. I think the mother in law has a large pointy hat I can borrow.. only thing I could use is a taser in case Nige and Si? end up at the same gaming table lol

I've just moved half of my collection from the attic to the living room ready to pack the car in the morning - I'll have plenty to keep me occupied ... Space Hulk, Aeronautica Imperialis, and enough stuff for silly Apoc games :)

I've also just put some extra figs in too - whoever wins the tourney will get to pick one fig from either a GD Space Marine with Thunder Hammer or one of 2x GD Dwarf Daemonslayers, and 2nd and 3rd can fight it out (and I mean a real fight, in the car park, first rule of fight club is ... ;) ) to pick over the remains.
