10 is to 55 as
15 is to 82.5 I was making an analogy through maths about bloat

Her save isn't better..she can be picked out.
Agoniser isn't the eldar str mod, its not a fist that suddenly makes your squad able to take on anything, it can't help if your whole squad is tarpitted by a sentinal. It only wounds on a 4+, buy an extra wych and a half and instead wound wraithlords and nightbringers on a 2+.(yes it sucks against plaguemarines/priest led BA who get their save and then are not forbidden from having feel no pain.. guess it depends on if thats all you play against)

she can't be picked out easily, shes and upgrade not an IC

being held up by walkers is a possibilty hence tke less so less get stuck (or evade as i try to).

but this weapon does wound anything, that takes wounds, on a 4+ and the blast pistol takes on the others.

Only bad thing about the blast pistol is its range.
Half the range of a standard pistol.
Make you have to decide whether to shoot and possibly (have your opponent) remove nearest models to deny assault or to run and not use it at all.
I'm re-thinkinng the blast pistol. The 15 points could probably be better used elswhere.

it just gives ur wyches the chance of popping a rhino and then assaulting the contents.

the HW grens are used in assault phase, and really u don't wanna use them unless u have to.

i only shoot my wyches if removing 3 models won't keep me out of the assault.

True enough! Being a lance weapon makes it good even against land raiders too!

If you charge in the succubus with agonizer with a squad of wyches and a hekatrix with agonizer against the termies you get;
succubus - 6 attacks, 3+ to hit, 4+ to wound, only the 5+ invul save
hekatrix - 5 attacks, 4+ to hit, 4+ to wound, only the 5+ invul save
8 wyches - 24 attacks, 4+ to hit, 5+ to wound, 2+ armor save

Might do a bit of damage to a termie squad! :twisted:
And this doesn't take combat drugs into consideration. If you get the +1 S result the wyches change to 4+ to hit, 4+ to wound.

But the unit only numbers 7 (t3 6+)meatshields and your giving the hemonc to 2 other squads already and they haven't killed anything (so no FNP),there are lots of mass fire units that will dump enough fire on there to force her to take saves in one go.(complex units sniping...sorry I thought you knew about it :lol: :wink: )

The idea is to get them into CC. If u fail, no matter what loadout u give the unit, they usually die.

How does wych sgt get 5 attacks on the charge. Std wyches we've been talking about here, not the bloodbrides yeh ;)

cool, thought ihad been cheating myself there....

another thought on succubus is that the wyches might kill alot more 1st round of combat, which i don't like, coz they are then left stood getting shot at next turn.

Yes, leaving them with their pretty little bums out in the open would be a bad thing! :wink:
But with plasma grenades, assaulting units in cover does not reduce the wyches I value, the unit can consolidate into the cover after the battle, or if that isn't possible and you transported them in a raider, position it so that the raider can provide cover for the wyche squad from subsequent shooting attacks.
Might cost you the Raider, but should help keep the wyche squad intact.

Wow charged a dreadie tonight at the club with my Wyches and haywire grens. They stayed with it, immobilised it and took an arm off, all for the loss of 2 Wyches. So I'm thinking I have enough antitank in the list now so will look at creating more infantry killing potential next.
