Alongside these, I've been working on a commission character model that I'm hoping to post details of once it's finished and started on scratch building another 3 thunderhawks (one for lis in purple, an IF one for my brother and a 3rd that will either be for my bro-in-law's BA successors or his orks ;) )

Fun times ahead ;)

Not really a full update yet as Ive got a lot of family stuff to wrap up still - and a couple of folks visiting for a few days. Did get chance to have a few mess-on games on Friday (no points limits or lists - just playing around with units) and took a few pics. So here's a sneak peak of things to come...

And while not strictly speaking part of the RS log, Huron made an appearance on the table / floor ;)

Update on the lack of updates (and a self motiivational post!)

Finally getting things back to normal after losing my mum a couple of months ago. With moving house and starting up working for myself things have been a bit manic to say the least. We're finally getting back into some semblance of normality, so Im hoping to get both this thread, the thawk step-by-step and the Egrimm project back on track. On the plus side Ive got a spangly new camera to take pics with and a dedicated desk next to the pc to work on :)

Being busy is the best thing in times like this, I lost my Mum a couple of years ago and dad a few years before that, and all I can say is 'It's fine to miss them'.

Condolences, it is always hard when something happens like that. I am glad you are putting on a brave face and look forward to seeing more of the Thunderhawk when you feel up to it.
