Just add the final touches to the legs and chest and call it done?

This one I think

the first one looks great!

the second one, i'd say a couple more highlights to the arms, they seem to lack a little definition at the moment

and leave the face be, its great as it is!

then add the final touches to the legs and chest (perv) and call it done!

I've managed to make a bit more progress on my hellions.

I've got the last 6 riders just awaiting the final wash and highlighting.

And these 2 are finished. Still deciding if I want to paint and texture the bases or leave them as is. I'll probably add sand and turf to them because I did the other flying stands I have like that.

Thoughts and comments are welcome as always!

Well, Talus threw down the gauntlet for me to finish the hellions by Friday, and I am only a day late (but I hope not a dollar short!)

Here's a "game table view" of the hellions;

And here they are two by two;

I hope you can notice that I did find the requisite pumpkin that everyone was asking for, but unfortunately mine seemed to come out in the shape of a skull! :D

I also managed to put a coat of flesh paint on 2 Haemonculus and on 23 wyches, so I still have enough on the bench to keep me out of trouble, or at least busy!

As always, C&C welcome on the hellions. Opinions on anything else needed on them (aside from basing) would be appreciated!

Cheers!

23 wyches?

no wonder you were late handing in your assignment!

now then, lets get down to business!

first, your technique is sloppy, your colours are horrid, and you call that skull a pumpkin!?

/facepalm

:D

if you think i was being serious there, well, insert something funny here :P

love the blue and green, not one i'd put together but you manage to pull it off, that with the blending on the boards and you've got something that really stands out :)

i think a fine highlight on the hair might be good, perhaps yellow tips?

do got one nitpick though

you cheated on the pumpkin!

nicely done though ;)

Thanks for the kind words!!

Thought I would have the venoms done today, but I suffered a minor setback last night when I managed to dump a nearly full pot of airbrush orange all over myself and the immediate area. :o

But I did get enough of the orange on the venoms so now I just need to finish up the bright red.

More later on (I hope!)

Believe it or not, I was actualyl able to paint the red coat on the venoms without spilling anything!
So here are the first 4, with the yellow/orage/red applied.

Image Image

The rear portion is going to be airbrushed with red gore, then I'll start in with the finish work.
