Wonder if this is the same expansion that was supposed to surface last summer and never did ...

Have moved to discussion until news is confirmed.

Well I've just seen the models for this and I have to say that I absolutely hate the SM stormtalon. Ugly looking thing.
Love the ork bomber but I feel that the necron flier should have a couple Mk II Vipers with Starbuck and Apollo to dogfight with it?!?!?!?

Yep, agree not liking the Space Marine StormTalon seems to suffer from the same design errors that GW keep making....

Looking the Ork and Necrons, will be adding some of them to my collection. Always wanted to add a Forgeworld bomber put was too expensive.
Only flier I ownn is a Tau Baracuda off eBay for a good price.

Currently I'm using two plastic models of original Cylon raiders that I picked up from a toy shop sale about 8 years ago as Necrons flyers (about 1:100 scale so will be slightly smaller than GW model)
I've also got about 4 Colonial Vipers as well which I was going to use as stand-ins for Imperial Navy Lightnings in Apocalypse.

Just when I was going to cap my spending with GW, especially with the annual price hike....

I'm following in the chanology view on it... I like it, as a conversion piece.. give it some legs and make a mini warhound/mechwarrior and it would look pretty good.. as is..blah.
Barely even lurking..

I'm thinking of getting it alongside the stormraven to combine and make one nice kit.

I like the new ork and marine fliers. The former is just plain awesome, and the latter makes me think 40k helicopter gunship.

combine it with a defiler for the legs, a dreadknight possibly for the arms, a land raider engine block for a rear power pack

the rules make interesting reading, the ork planes are av10, they are all fast skimmers that can move flat out 36" and have a new weapon - the supa-shoota (st 6 ap 4), im gonna have to buy me sum :-)

Can't help feeling they took my Stormraven design for their Talon. I think I'll be getting at least 1. I will however be altering it slightly to how it 'should' look. When I'm finished, it should look a little more lithe an a little less like a pig.
One question. Are thes likely to replace landspeeders?

The ork and necro fliers look nice too, but it's unlikely I'll be getting either.
