Looks that way, don't it? ;)

Nice job KMB. I too like the SGQG (Skeleton Guided Quad Gun). Nice effect.

Like Spack's armored train as well. Y'all are inspiring me to get back to work in the model room!

You see that's where you're going wrong.
You need a real room to paint models in (unless the model room is 1 to 1 scale, of course).
Is that paint in the model room real? No its painted on. Then its real isn't it? No, its paint. Its a painting of a pot of paint, using paint to paint it. Then its real paint then. No. Yes. No.

Nice. I take it that's a Super Heavy? 1:35 will be a bit big for a standard tank, and I've got a 1:35 Patton chassis being used for an Armorcast Baneblade/Shadowsword hull that is pretty much spot on for the track size.

It's the same length as the Baneblade, but a fraction narrower and shorter in hight. So yeah super heavy. If the VDR was still in use, I'd make it an intermediate size tank.

The Challenger is ready for some paint now.
Has anyone used ArmyPainters Desert Yellow spray paint? Or know of another decent Desert Yellow spray?
Before anyone asks, I don't have an airbrush or spray gun. SO it would have to be a Spray Can.

I use the Army Painters Desert Yellow and have had no problem with it.

i have about 6 cans of the desert yellow, its a couple shades off from tausept ochre, very good coverage but can really thicken things up if you put too much down at a time

Ok thanks guys. I've ordered a can from GF today.
I've used Army Painter on my BA for over a year now, so I'm already aware how thick it is. But thank you both for the responses.

A bit of progress. The Devestator squad is assembled and ready for paint. They've been sprayed red with Army Painter Dragon Red with a coat of Blood Red after that. I've also built their bases.

Also now the paint has arrived from GF, (thank you Taumaul, excellent service as always! ) I've been able to spray the first colour onto the Challenger II kitbash. I've used Army Painter Desert Yellow.

I managed a load of painting on holiday (stage 4 of 6 on 45 elves). Struggling to find the time or enthusiasm to complete them but I need to as I have a deadline of the 29th September.

I've told myself Sunday is a painting day.
