Very cool mate!
Nice work.
How much are you selling them on ebay for? ;)

oh come on wiz, if you want them, just say it :P

the snake guy could use a little more work, not 100% pleased with how the scales came out

not 100% on lha...leh...the woman at the end :P her scabbard at the very least could do with a repaint (finished her a couple months ago, the rest of them today)

the master of blades im thrilled with, he came out exactly as i wanted him too :D

so did the ur-ghul, which is this: space wolf grey - asurman blue wash - space wolf grey highlight, simple as hell, but looks great :P

the brains of the medusae bone with a purple wash, didnt see much point in going overboard on it, its a brain after all, not rocket science :P

i think i kinda dropped the ball on the archons head... i mean the body and arms had such a promising start, i think i just took the easy way out with it if im honest

now, heres a confession

the bodies for all of them were finished months ago, and since im an idiot who doesnt write down the mixes he uses for his models (started now though!), i couldnt remember the blue mix i used when it came to starting the arms and heads!

think i got it pretty close though =D

and lastly, all but the master of blades, are failcast, went through 3 archons to get enough parts to make one even as remotely ''complete' as that one, and he's still missing half a hand! (under the flames)

but anyway

Lelith is metal
urien if metal
haemonculus is failcast
succubus is failcast

once i can clean them up, i'll get started on them

but before i do that! i have 5 mandrakes to finish, and 7 kabalites to finish!

THEN the vindicators, i swear it!

who knows, i might even finish the titan then!

anyone got any weapon tips for a razorwing?

-edit-

nevermind, going with the monosyths simply because they remind me of the staff weapons from stargate =P

Put 2 different types of missiles on it. Looks much better that way!

Worry not. The staff are permitted to use whatever weapons are equipped. ;)

i need some advice guys...

whats the best way to thin out paints, specifically citadel paints, for use with an airbrush?

ive got this pattern in mind for the razorwing, but vallejo dont make purple paint! and for some bizzare reason, no matter what ratio i use, i cant MIX it either, it just sorta comes out... brownish red...

Cutting the tail end off the new DA Dark Talon model would make awesome Death Gliders :)

Use some acrylic medium to thin the paint?

the curse of asking on a saturday night, its now sunday and i cant get any >_>

went over a couple youtube vids about thinning the paint, one guy said he uses a mix of acrylic medium/glaze medium, or just all one or the other

now from my experience the glaze medium would give it alittle shine, but since i now have varnish that is airbrush compatible, that wont be an issue

in fact if i can pull off the colour pattern in my head, it'll work to my advantage!

definately need to get some though...

i bought a metal gate and dhd from ebay, ive tried about 9 different ways to do a base for it, but its getting to the point where im just going to mount it on some steps and call it a day

though i did have a small idea about building a manufactorum around it :P

even came with 3 serpent guard :D (slightly smaller than imperial guardsmen)

if you ever come up with how to do a SG themed army, you let me know, cause that is one army i'd devote a decade too =D

i even know where to get some 40k scaled P90's ;)
