Sort of want.

I'll get back to you.

Apart from the obvious Throne of skulls Kill team and Battle brothers look like interesting events to at least have a look in to.

Is the normal points of tournies still 1500? Better try ad come up with a list and get them painted!

I would aim for 1850 as that is the average around, and its easier to drop to 1500 than jump up to 1850 from 1500.

Both Throne of skulls and Battle brothers are 1500 point lists. No UK event I can find is more than that.

Will have to figure out how to fit Azrael into a 1500pt army then!

No GW sponsered event is bigger, but as LH, King and bane prefer a lot of the homebrew ones are 1750 or 1850..
A good place to work out a timetable is through this place (dakka is more US centric).
http://www.warseer.com/forums/forumdisp ... ment-Forum
but I've got to say I'm never going to go to a Colchester/Edinburgh one (no offence to the towns just sooo far just to say your "on the circuit")meh bare in mind I'm only half assed to walk down the road.. so I shouldn't have a vote in this or anything.

I'd disagree with Bane on scale..
1500-1750 is a bracket where your making choices, all about optimising firepower whilst having enough scoring..
1850-2000 is a slower different game where your army construction is much less important (you don't have to spend a month getting those last 5 points efficacy out you just need to bring stability and synergy)
Barely even lurking..

Ok Maybe I'm being to subtle then. If these are not the events we are going for (GW ToS and the like) than what are we so we(I) can plan properly and get motivated.

The idea is to go to any that gain enough support, there is a good no of indie ones that are ran and to be honest I personally don't put much stock in the GW ran ones, that's not to say I wouldn't attend if people wanted to.

The reason I say 1850 over 1500 is purely from having paint models perspective, ie its easier to make a painted 1500 list from a painted 1850 list that it is the other way round.

Ill give it to the end of the week for people to let me know if they are intrested in forming a squad and then ill start a new thread for the actual first tournie we will look to attend.

The idea will be to have a squad that we can draw a team from for any giving event, ie KMB sees an event in his local area, he posts in good time for support, it may be that 2 people from the NE travel down to join him and LH. On the next event which is in Scotland it may be a different group that can attend that one.

1st post updated with names so far.

The earliest I would be able to make any tournies would be September time due to me trying to get the armies painted, you know how long it takes me to paint!

I get that nothing is set in stone and we've no idea yet who will be available for what, but is there any chance of you nameing these indi events. That way I can have a look into them and research meta and past winners to see what types of armies we are likly to face.
