well, when the results are up, it would be nice to hear some comments and criticisms.

I know it would help me to become a better modeler,

double post be damned ;)

since my announcer duties are done, its a personal message

i'd just like to thank the academy for making this happen

my family and friends for helping me through the labour of those kits

timewizard for giving pointers and advising me on which patterns would be better (though he did say that compared to acropolis, galactica didnt look anywhere near as good :P)

and most of all, i'd like to thank the 6 people who voted for me!

i promise you all that in future contests, i will do much better so that i may earn your vote once again!

And well done to paulmc and TW. Very nice entries by you both :)

I reckon that once you get 6 points you should cut your right arms off.. that way we all have a chance...(to lose a hand)..
Big hand for talus..(somewhere not near his right wrist..maybe in vinegar)
:)
Now if only you lot would play some games and talk about them and stuff.
Barely even lurking..

Won't help, Talus is left handed!

Well, he isn't really, but he has tried to cut it off over the years. Ain't that right Talus? ;)

@Cain, I really liked your scratch build. I think it came out great! I've done scratch building in the past and working off a sketch and an idea is probably one of the hardest aspects of the hobby.
