Nemesis Warding Staff

I understand basics of my Grey Knight Nemesis force weapons.

ie Falchions give +1 attack, and if activated grant instant kill.

However apart from 2+ invulnerable save in melee what does an activated warding staff give?

Instant kill and 2++ save.

It is listed under the force weapons and the rule states that if the psychic test is passed all force weapons cause instant kill.

By the Grey Knight FAQ, it is an unusual force weapon, which by the main rules makes it an AP3 melee weapon, strength of the user.

Great, thanks for that, just trying to pick a decent GK army of 2000 points to face Tyranids.
Using 700 points if Imoerial Guard allies because they have never seen a battle! And want good main army to back them up!
The staff is to go with my terminator libarian.
