* I assembled 58 Mantic Elf Archers for a friend at my local hobby shop. But I'm not paying for them or painting them. Hence why I bracketed them separately.

My mountain is growing quicker than I can paint as I have just bought a load of 10mm Napoleonics to have a dabble at something different.......well I suppose it keeps me out of the pub and out of mischief

Yes I have Mr King, I have been playing for about a year on and off and currently have about 1500 points of Americans.

I have been spreading my wings since I have become fed up of how 40K runs these days and I am playing a few different systems (Star Wars X-Wing, Rapid Fire WW2 using 15 mm fig, Bolt Action and have just got a copy of Black Powder to use with my Napoleonics when I get them painted

Did you like bolt action? I am really enjoying it. But I'm wondering how w40k would be using the same system. Might have to give that a go sometime. ;)

If you ever wanna game Ian we love to see you down the club again sometime. :)

I do like Bolt Action, especially the randomness of drawing the order dice. I might take up your invite sometime but most Thursdays I am busy and Mondays I am at our club :D

Look at Gates of Antares then King. It's a game by Rick Priestly and uses the Bolt Action mechanism for orders: http://www.darkspacecorp.com/

To be fair Matt, with a little twiddling, you could use the system on anything. I heard about it being tried on w40k... might try that one night.

back on topic... I've literally lost count here guys. The Kings household is just a cottage industry at present for buying, making and painting...

I need to recall where I started counting this year. :(

I've lost track a bit. I'll have to have an audit and then report back in!

Just updated mine, and as long as I finish what I've set myself this month - which I'm on track for all going well with Egrimm - my numbers look like this...

Summary as of 24 April 2014
Models Bought 16
Terrain Bought 14
Models Assembled 8
Terrain Assembled 23
Models Painted 43
Terrain Painted 22

Once the bench is clear I'm heading back into 6mm land for a while, so the 'painted' figure should climb quite quickly. My only planned purchases over the next few months are all xwing related - Bwings, A Wings, Rebel Transport, Tantive IV and another set of Imperial Aces - so it gives me chance to focus on painting the backlog :)
