orks for sale

Postby ghost.124 » Mon Jul 14, 2014 7:06 pm

Hay guys I am going to be buying the new stormclaw box set and I will be selling the orks from the set as orks don't interest me in the slightest so its going to be first come first serve

tbh I would only pay 20 - 25 quid for the orks, anymore and it's better value to buy the boxset myself, it's interesting to see that the orks models are quite limited in an expansion sort of way I mean who's going to run an army of nobs n grots

Right I have been giving it some thought I will sell the normal orks for that price all of them but I am not going to except anything less than 15 for the limited edition ork as I could get that for it if not more on ebay not trying to sound like a butt holle or anything but I know I can get quite a price for limited edition figures as it is going to be 1 in 4000 only made

I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what your offer is. Can you lay it out in actual monetary amounts?

Just help out a little bit the full retail price of the Ork models in this box set come to £53.50 and that's without the limited edition model included. The price of the set is £75 (full retail) but is limited and sold out almost everywhere. Obviously you can get the models cheaper than full retail from Gaming Figures (£45.47 again without including the price for the limited model).

ghost, your prices have half convinced me to buy the starter myself, (coupled with my nephew wanting to have a go at 40k so I need the new rules) so unfortunately 'i'm out' but good luck selling the models.
I was surprised to see that the models are proper sprues and not just snap fits as previous box sets. im left with the decision whether to sell the space wolves or keep em.
looking on the net there are some ridiculous prices for the set, £150 anyone. I cant believe that someone would pay some of the prices ive seen but I suppose theres one born every minute. I would love to know how many sets have been bought for 'profiteering reasons'

niki, ive already got one, I was about a minute behind you yesterday, you were coming out as I was getting my parking sorted on the high street
started to read the rules, not massive changes from 6th but its the crucial little things that make all the difference. I just need to get hold of the new codex, reading some of the reviews looks like I will be going back to a play style of 5th ed
anyway the boyz are out of the loft so need to get painting again
I think the main thing with this edition is having a go with as many units as possible to see what works or not, that and curbing my natural hatred of the psychic phase

The psychic phase isn't that important (It is fun though). Tau get away without one and I've not had it over power a game yet. This edition is just a small change over last with the biggest being force org.

I think people have decided that its better to buy the box set complete than pay more than than half the box cost for less than half the box contents.
