cheers :)

for pillars suitable for 28mm figs, have you tried cake decorating shops? pillars for wedding cakes etc are relatively cheap. take a look at this thread, for example:

hope that helps.

So far all the cake pillars I have seen have been too large for what I am doing, unless I want to build Ephesis...

The Legion camp is still in the mock up stage, but I will get some close ups.

The temple roof looks really good. Do you have any WIP shots of it to see how it was done or any pics of the finished painted building?

The building isn't painted yet, waiting for some warmer weather for the can of undercoat to come out.

I might have tile in progress shots, if not I can soon do one if your interested.

'twas me.

that looks really great. :D

you said those were mockups - have you decided to make any changes in the final version, or are you happy with the general shape (so just going to add more detail)? :?:

cheers :)

The general shape etc is now fine, I had to make them slightly over scale otherwise they were too small.

They were mocked for a friend who was planning on casting them and the 6mm temple in Resin, so he could work out the moulding and make any suggestions on construction etc.

That is probably not going to happen so now they will get finished for me. Detailing is mostly grain effect instead of plain card for the wood sections.

How will you do the grain effect?

A WIP shot of the tiles would be good :)
