Dark Angels and Plasma weapons

Hi All,

So I was playing a game at my local Warhammer. The manager advised that my DA had a special rule meaning they didn’t suffer the mortal wound penalty for rolling one’s when firing over charged plasma weapons.

Since then I’ve been trying to find the rule. But can’t.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me with where the rule is or where best to look.

I haven't played in a long time, but I've had a search for this supposed rule and can't find anything. I think this is one of those many cases of a staff member mixing in house rules or something from an old edition. Unless they can show you the rule, assume it doesn't exist.

No such rule. The only benefit DA get with plasma is their "Weapons from the dark age" strategem which allows them to increase the damage of plasma weapons.
