Or rather, I'm going to start putting together a couple of Chaos armies.
I got the daemon box set when it came out but never did anything with it. I'm going to add a few more bits to it and use it in both
40K and
WHFB. I'll build this one up slowly, seeing how the various units work out and wait for things like plastic plague bearers to come out before I get them.
Chaos mortals though are a different matter

It's another army I always fancied and only ever sporadically got bits and pieces for (and sold/lost/traded along the way). With the release of the new book and range in November and with what looks like great plastics for building up a force quickly, I've started to think about other bits I'd want to see and about themes and painting styles.
Some of the best models
GW ever made were the Chaos chapion range in the circa 1990 (see my WANTED post (
http://www.ageofstrife.com/modules.php? ... pic&t=2641 )). I've got a couple of these already I can strip and repaint but would love some more.
I've also always wanted a Slaanesh and/or Nurgle army so will be on the lookout for those ones in particular. Trouble is I either collect lots of everything and paint things in a non-god-specific way or go god-specific and paint accordingly. Not sure what to do yet.
As for painting styles for the two, I'm leaning towards dipping for the deamons and more traditional painting for the mortals.
Thoughts?
[EDIT] Yes, this does mean my current project list is now:
Ultramarines
Necrons
Nids
Daemons
Chaos mortals
High Elves
O&G
Unfinished buildings and other terrain
I like to make life complicated don't I?
