Just need help with movement with different types of units I.e. Can everything turn around freely or is there a limit

No idea in 8th ed. It did cost a percentage of movement to turn on the spot, or you used your normal movement allowance to wheel a unit in 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th so I presume its not vastly different. It should all be there in the movement section of the rule book.

If I remember right skirmishers can turn freely. Ranked units can turn 90 degrees for half movement or 180 degrees for full movement. Units can wheel up to their full movement during the movement phase.

If a unit wishes to turn 90 or 180 degrees it takes all its movement as it is a reform. If you have a musician and pass a Ld. test you can rapid reform which means you can reform and move, but not march.
