ANybody Else Had This Happen?

ANybody Else Had This Happen?

Postby markb » Tue Mar 19, 2013 7:58 am

The other day I was on Prokhorovka in my IS7. Now I didn't have a great game but it ended in a draw and I took no damage. Now when I went to the post battle results screen I looked at my stats and noticed that I hadn't been charged for my ammo, I'd fired 8 or 9 rounds so I should have been charged around 10k credits but nothing, I ended up getting my full credits earned. Bargain! Just wonder if this has ever happened to anybody else.

Never had this, but I am still trundling along with my little tier 3s!

Did you by any chance sell a tank that had the same main gun as your IS7?

If you didn't sell off the modules or ammo, you may have had extra ammo in your depot.

Also, if you go to your depot, look at your ammo and modules. Check the box that says "Not compatible with my vehicles" and uncheck the box that says "Display: On vehicles". This is all extra equipment and ammo that is left over from vehicles you have sold off.

You can safely sell this equipment off and pick up a quick couple hundred thousand in credits.

Don't do this with consumables though. Especially if you did like I did and stocked up on them when they were offered for 1/2 price!

Its a tier 10 heavy so no extra modules, what you see is what you get. Think it must have just been a glitch, probably never happen again.

Did you sell your IS8 when you got the IS7?

Because they both use the same top tier gun.

I did and they don't, the IS8 top gun is the 122mm M62-T2 and the IS7 is the 130mm S70

Only when I first got it, this was about my 15th game in it. Like I said it was probably a one off glitch and I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth! :)

Possible, but I haven't found glitches like that in the game.
It's possible that you used a different type of ammo, maybe without even realizing it, and had a surplus of that ammo type.
If not, then yeah, just enjoy the windfall of a few free rounds!

Only ever had this happen when I've had spare ammo in the depot from either selling the same gun on another vehicle, or from swapping the same gun on another vehicle to a different weapon.

I've had it before when I've had spare rounds either because I've changed the ammo load out or as Dan says from swapping a gun but like I said I hadn't done that on this occasion. I''l take it, it'll make up for the pants on head incompetant teams I've had for the last few days!
