Finally got Expert USA :)

Finally got Expert USA :)

Postby Spack » Sat Jun 14, 2014 5:11 pm

After weeks of trying to find a T92 I could take out, and often getting one when I was playing my Jagdtiger giving me little chance to get to it before my team, today I had a game on Karellia with the E-75. I thought I had no chance of getting to the arty before my team as most of my comrades had pushed hard down the left flank, leaving me and a few other tanks to try to push down the right. As my team mates spotted the T92 he made a run for it, driving straight into my sights; and my gunner did an excellent job of one shotting him before the rest of the team had a chance to hit him. Huzzah! Also managed to bag the last remaining enemy tank, a WT Pz IV who spent quite a bit of time shooting my tracks ...

So that's two expert medals down. If I can find a FV4202 I can nab the British one, but I've seen only one of those tanks in a game in the past month (and he got me before I could finish him off :(). For the French one I need to take out both the BC 155 arty variants. I need an STB-1 and a Type 61 for the Japanese medal, I got picked off by an STB-1 today. And to round it off I still need 5 tanks for the Russian medal and 3 for the Chinese.

Nice one Spack!

I know it's tough to find and kill the right tanks for the medals.

The worst was the Germans, every time I got close WG added another bunch of German tanks to the game!

Well, we're safe here for the moment, we're still running 9.0 over this side of the pond!

9.1 doesn't add any new tanks except the T-62A Sport which can only be used in the football games. The sounds, improved game engine, and new map are great.

When I got my Expert USA I needed the tier 9 arty as my last tank. Every time I saw one on the enemy team I always ended up just being a bit too late to it. When I finally found one I could get I was in my T54, I virtually suicided across the map to get him! The Brit ones are like rocking horse shit, I still need the tier 2, 9 and 10 arties and the Russians, well just forget it! Got the Germans, French and Chinese though.

A friend of mine, skiddyb, also needs just the tier 9 arty for the USA medal. I was lucky in that I ran into one when I still needed 5 or 6 tanks.
