Good battle replays

Good battle replays

Postby timewizard » Sun Dec 01, 2013 7:23 pm

Thought I'd start this up as a place to post some WoT replays.

To kick it off, this is one fight that I had the other day with my Tiger I. Hope the link works. Replay

Next bragger?

Nice battle fyzz, looked like it got off to a bit of a slow start, but nice job there.

WTF kind of player are you?! 10 kills with over 85% hit rate? Man, either you had the mutts of a game, or you are damn lucky. I'm betting on the former. Is the Tiger I really that devastating compared to other tanks of the tier?

Wish I could call this a good battle replay. I was in my Ferdinand, and had a front row seat to a 'tard' in an IS-8 going off on a 'tilt' and shooting team members. Managed to avoid this stupidity and have a decent fight. If you're like me, you'll just be shaking your head at the opening minutes of this fight.

Here's myself and my clanmate platooned in a pair of Matildas. Great example of co-operative teamwork. Enjoy!

Berger, no the Tigers a bit crap, don't get me wrong, I like it, but the armour is terrible, I've tried everything, sides scraping, angling, you name it. Nothing works. Occasionally you can get bounces, especially off the gun mantlet, but don't count on it. And pretty much every shot that goes through your hull front will do one or all of the following:

Kill your driver
Kill your ammo rack
Kill your engine
Set you on fire

Having said that it's got a great gun and tier 8 levels of hp (because it needs them!) Best tier 7 tank? The T29, no questions. But enjoy that while you can as they will nerf it in the next few patches
"The guns have stopped because we are at last about to attack. Even our generals aren't mad enough to shell their own men, they think its far more sporting to let the Germans do it!"

Where have you heard they are nerfing the T29? I haven't heard anything on it and it really doesn't need to be nerfed. Its a glass cannon with an awesome frontal turret, but past that its a giant target for anything else to shoot it. As long as you are not aiming at him straight up you can pen the T29 easily. I do all the time. Of course, I grinded the T29 to the T32 and have a T34 which are all similar so I understand their benefits and significant deficiencies.

What I need them to nerf is that damn IS line. I have the hardest time doing anything to those regardless of where I shoot them at.

NO! Say it isn't so! I've got the entire IS line up to the IS-7. No need to nerf them! They aren't overpowered! They can be penned! ;)

Well, I get penned. But that's by people using premium rounds and nothing but premium rounds.
