Kamikaze IS-7 Video

Kamikaze IS-7 Video

Postby Spack » Tue Dec 31, 2013 6:09 pm

Thought I'd have a quick try at posting a video (can't let Nige have all the fun!). Used Fraps to record clips from a replay of a game played on 27th Dec where an IS-7 rammed into my E-75 and blew himself up, both at normal speed and in slow motion with fixed and free cameras. Then used Windows Live Movie Maker to cut the clips and combine them and finally ran it through Handbrake to trim the black borders as WLMM only handles 16:9 and 4:3 output; my monitor is 1680 x 1050 native which is pretty much 16:10 so WLMM adds black at each side to pad to 16:9, and Handbrake also shrank the file from 111MB down to 46MB.

EDIT: Nuts. Just realised that the embedded player here on AoS is fixed to 16:9 format so adds the black bars when played small. Full screen it on a 16:10 monitor to get rid of them.

He had 292 HP left just before ramming me, and I had 201 HP left. He lost 5 HP hitting the Caernarvon, and then the Caernarvon hit me losing 149 HP but doing no damage to me. The IS-7 lost his remaining 287 HP when he rammed me, taking 137 HP off me in return. I was left with 64 HP, both the Caernarvon and the other IS-7 next to me failed to shoot me, but I was then shot by the Lowe a little higher up the hill - who in turn was immediately killed by my own team.
