Victory Counts / Axis and Allies

Victory Counts / Axis and Allies

Postby Spack » Sun Jan 26, 2014 6:46 pm

Who else completed the mission this weekend? With EU1 up and down like a yoyo, Friday night pretty much a bust due to the severe lag, and EU2 lagging after 6pm, it was a close thing, but I completed Axis and Allies for the 4th time this evening, earning the T-15 tier II premium tank and a garage slot. During the fun managed to complete New Years Resolution 10, 20, and 30 every day earning 300,000 credits each time, as well as a load of Quick and Dirty 23 times at 50,000 credits each, and worked up enough XP on the Ferdinand to unlock the Jagdtiger. Almost earned enough credits to buy it too, the 70 large repair kits and 20 automatic fire exinguishers in the depot will bring in 900,000 credits, and combined with the credits earned during the last few days plus the 1m I already had I've got plenty to get the JT and move in a crew from another of my TDs. In all a fun weekend.

EDIT. Fixed subject to Victory Counts as that's the name of the big mission, but confusingly is listed as For Victory We Fight in game.

To be honest a combination of massive lag, random disconnects, nVidia crashes, real life and bloody awful teams meant that I haven't even come close to doing it!
"The guns have stopped because we are at last about to attack. Even our generals aren't mad enough to shell their own men, they think its far more sporting to let the Germans do it!"

Was that a mission specific to the EU server?

I've no idea TW, it started on Friday morning and ends tomorrow morning. Are there no missions this weekend on the US server?

We've got a bunch of them.
New Year's Resolution - destroy 10, 20 and 30 tanks in a single day for 50K, 100K and 150K credits respectively.
Tanking it to the extreme - Play 300 games and win 100 battles for 1 million credits.
Yankee Doodle Dandy - Win 10 battles with certain American tanks for a case of cola.

There's a few more around, but no axis and allies.

We don't have those last two over here. As well as the three New Years Resolution missions we have a few as a part of the Tripoli special as well as weeklies.

Axis and Allies. Win 15 games in which you are in the top 10 players on team. Award is 15 large repair kits. No limit
on how many times can be completed.

Victory Counts. Complete Axis and Allies 4 times to win a garage slot and T-15 premium tank, can only be completed once.

For Victory We Fight. Double experience for each win.

Quick and Dirty. Win 5 games to get 50,000 credits. No limit to number of times can be completed.

The Extra Mile. Play 50 games. Reward is binoculars. Can be completed once.

It's Too Hot Here. Be top 10 player in a game on a summer map. Award is 10 automatic fire extinguishers. Can be completed once per day.

And a few others, but I didn't have tanks that qualified for them.

Wow, you guys have a bunch of cool missions going.

There's a few more over here too, similar to what you have going on EU server.

I particularly like the ones that reward you with credits. Trying to grind 3.5 MILLION to get a tank is a royal PITA! Every little bit helps.

I don't use the cases of cola and auto fire extinguishers per se, so I end up selling them off for extra cash.

I also sell off modules, guns and ammo that I don't need, can usually pick up a sizable chunk of change doing that too.

Can't tell. The API shows last update, which is when global ranks are recalculated or games played. Shows your last update as 26th Jan. Noobmeter says you've played 3 games in the past week too, so you apparently haven't completely given up :P

I do the same. Hence the 900k I can get for selling the repair kits and fire extinguishers picked up at Xmas and this weekend. I sell most modules after upgrading; always suspension and turrets as those are tank specific, and engines and guns where I know I'll never use them again although I've started keeping stock ones where the top ones are usable on subsequent tanks in the tech tree so that I can switch to stock before selling the tank.
