Some time ago when I first started building the model railway for my son I said I could add street lights to the layout. I duly spent hours making 2 very simple street lights, but this was somewhat lacking especially as they were quite dull. Today I finally removed them, and installed 20 white LEDs in street lights, station lights, and some interior lighting in buildings. These LEDs were prewired and had resistors fitted ready to use with 12V DC power (which I already had thanks to a left over Netgear router power supply), and cost less than buying the component parts to build myself. After 6 solid hours of work today the lighting is complete!

Take one bendy straw and trim it down to size. Bend a prewired LED, and slide into the straw. Street light complete The station lights are made the same way but with much shorter poles.

So assembling Dwarf King's Hold is part of my Q2 Hobby Challenge

Just finished the 10 Revenants (Armoured Skeletons) for the game as well. There's also a Pit of Souls (used in the game) and a Pile of Bones (you get counters for these, but if you had enough Mantic skellies, as I do with a 1k army, you could use "actual" piles), and a Skeleton Rat (used in Kings of War).



6 of the models on the sprue are sculpted Revenants, the other 4 are Skeleton Torsos with blinged up heads and armour pieces to be stuck on (which works fine IMO).

They were nice models to put together:

Howdy folks.
Those of you who met me at AoS meet in March will probably my first Stormraven which I based on the Hunter Killer from Terminator Salvation.
Well today I now present my 2nd completed Stormraven.

As you'll notice, it is based on GWs SR kit. I stretched it using someone's idea which on B&C which can be found here
But, I continued with my VTOL design. And I was actualy quite suprised how close my first and second SR came dimentionally speaking. I feel they could easily be imagined to be different models of the same vehicle.
Anywho, see what you guys think.

The gf asked me to paint a model for her, and as this was undercoated pre-5th Ed ( ) and no longer needed for it's original purpose




Unfortunately the light isn't very good, but I need to prove it was finished tonight, so it'll have to do for now.
