Its been about 6 months since I put brush to paint to model. On the gaming side though i have had a fair few games of 40k of which i have lost a few (a few actually all of them) My beloved Worldeaters army seems to be failing me or it could be a lack of tactics and general stupidity.
To break me out of the painters block I have decided that I have had enough of red paint, therefore have chose to paint up a different army. Warriors of chaos seemed to be the best idea as the people I play against had everything but. Epic win.

I rushed out and bought a box of marauders and on the journey home I was thinking what a waste of money that was, they will only stay in the box and stay there until my son moves out and I sell them on. Got home and promptly glued them together, and painted and painted and painted. Damn it felt good.

Not sure how many have had a go at putting together Forgeworld Heresy Space Marines, I find putting the arms and bolter on really hard.
1. Holding the resin together after applying the super glue without sticking my fingers to the resin is a pain
2. Then making sure the Bolter fits in-between the hands without breaking the arms off again.

I found putting a layer of Liquid Green stuff on the joints gave the superglue some coarseness to bond.

Anyway - finally managed to get the arms, bolter, head and shoulder pads on.


That's 35 Tactical Space Marines with Bolters (including Sergeant, Vox and backbanner), plus a Squad of Support Marines with Plasma Guns.

Add to this Loken Garvial and the two Apothecaries.


Finally decided to put together Abaddon as well, decided to go with the Combi Bolter than the Sword, though my Sons of Horus will...

With a chassis for the train on it's way from eBay, the Panzerzug project will be moving again later this week. I've just noticed that I didn't post a pic of the Tiger card tank, it's still not complete but here's one with the Jagdpanther and a 1/72 Spitfire for scale.

Whilst I'm at Salute, thought I may as well use my discount from buying Dwarf King's Hold to pick up some Mantic Undead Revenant Cavalry and Dwarf Shieldbreakers, so I ordered them for pick-up.

Hi folks. Been moving my models round the house a bit today. One, to protect them from the kids as they grow. And two, to make room for more important things where I had them. But I did take the opitunity to take some pics of the force in its entirety as it currently stands. It is still growing though, so don't be fooled into thinking I've stopped
