Finally got started. Model now built, primed and basic blacking in of joints done. Next the fun part begins - washes.

Slight challenge to proceedings - have developed a nasty eye infection!

]@angelwing, thanks, glad to be back.

unfortunatly it isnt because its salvaged form ebay. although its built the wayd id run it anyway, inferno and mm so that was a bonus.

i have however magnetized my 2 newest chimeras and scratch built an inferno cannon for that so i can use one of them as another hellhound. burney burney death! :twisted:

ive also made some progress with this HH :

curse you man, you're making me want to paint Tau!

hit a couple more slight snags on Excelsior (kit issues mostly), so doing my best to fix those right now, then its touching up the paint and getting on with detailing (fun!)

hoping to get it done by the end of the week, so fingers crossed!

Hey DArklighter - that looks great pal. How r u getting that streaked effect in the paint? Seems really regular in its angles so I'm assuming not dry brushing....
Also realised it is a very similar paint scheme to my eldar. I paint the bone colour differently, but the palette is the same. My wraithknight and ur ax10 r gonna look like allies! :Lol:

Ah! That's it! Often the simplest tools work. I'm toying with the idea of using material from a pair of tights for spraying over a canopy. I like the tech effect it gives. (Cue tights jokes....)
