GWs policy is that it has to be at least undercoated

"VRD allowed?"
As in scratchbuilt model AND RULES?
I think we'd need to ask the chaos lot for permission in advance in case you were making a super uber tough baneblade with 20 billion structure points for 200 points less than off the shelf BB.

If the chaos lot wish to use my scratched together doomsday device(as featured in the recent mega motion picture at cinemas near you) .. they just have to ask. :)

Well it was essentially going to be a baneblade esque transport with the fantasy wizards tower on top, hardly any inbuilt weapon systems, but a tonne of fire points. thinking 4 structure points (14/14/12)

And a pair of land raiders without sponsons (pure transports).

Just checked the VRD...
The Baneblade conversion would cost 496 without any weapons (agile speed), and a transport cap of 26. But id probably make it 600 (for the added bonus of having fire points and not being open topped (power armour)

And the land raider transports would be 211 (which is pretty darn expensive), keeping the hull mounted HB.

I am Bringing my wolves - no superheavies for it ...yet....but might bring the Stormblade

I am guessing 3.5K+ worth of Marines

50 Grey hunters (30 painted)
10 Wg Termis
5 WG
15 BCs
20 Swiftclaws
10 Skyclaws
10 scouts
21 Long Fangs
half a dozen heros
A gaggle of speeders
5 assorted tanks
6 Assorted transport
1 Droppod

Wow never considered my wolves company sized!

Matt's and my friend Martyn is coming as well with some "Dark Green trice damned renegades who claim to serve the emperor but then get all confused and paint their speeders + bikes black and terminators bone white" Marines...... :D

He has 50 odd unpainted Terminators, enough wonderfully painted raven wing to fight a 1500 battle and almost a company of Standard British Racing Green Marines.

Now what I fancy is these 2 forces vs someone elses forces for a big bash - a sort of Lion and the Wolf putting aside their differences and taking on the big bad.

Any takers

Maybe you should start a thread for that.. I doubt people who didn't register teams for this game read this thread... (and I doubt half the chaos team read it anyway).
Why you up so late..this is the hour of the wolf don't cha know. :D

Well maybe, but only if you me,bane and gordy don't play.. as I believe he suggests that he'd like to be a 3 person team for order against disorder (the 2 redcar raiders who so far haven't posted, stunty +herne.)
..As LH is ribbing me mercilously by PM, the idea that 5 people have joined, 1 switched sides (3 times) and 1 left a month after registration closed is reminding me why I generally pull clinton face at apoc.

At the minute, Stunty is still in, and the teams remain as the 1st post.

Contingency for Stunty dropping out will be the 3 remaining players make up the slack, so and extra 1150 each if herne can do that? If not I will ask Jo and rich to bring an extra 1750 each.

So if I weigh in with the fact that I might not be able to make the Sunday now I guess hillarity may ensue?

Sorry - might be a Saturday Night decision for me too I'm afraid. You guys might need to be flexible with choosing sides on the Sunday morning. As long as everyone has lists written, and perhaps a few extra points set aside 'in case' then that should sort it. After all that's the spirit that Apoc is supposed to be played in....
