I might, still not sure. Need to check if I'm already doing something that weekend. If I'm not, can someone pick me up a FW DK Mounted Commissar? :)

EDIT: Not, I'm not going. It's a Sunday, my wife works on Sundays, and I'll be spending the day with my children, and with the minimum age of 12 I can't take either of them. If any of you lot is thinking of coming to Birmingham on the Saturday and staying overnight, I could be persuaded to meet up for a few beers though, the NEC is only a few miles away ;)

I was tempted to go for the same reason Matt, but sadly I'm running 10k (around Blenheim Palace), so I can't :(

Well good luck with that :) Are you doing sponsorship?

It's far more healthy than our planned early rise, lardy breskfast on the way, fast food while there and fat fuelled meal on the way home!

Will take the camera and grab pics of what I can. EDIT... of interesting sights at GD, not of our food.

Not going either, I found it overpriced and badly organised when we went 2 years ago, running out of pre-release stuff 20mins after openning the doors whilst I was in the queue didn't help.

Sh!t

There goes my Diet :(

I have to say that I have always found something of interest each time I have gone

Last time it was speaking with the head engineer honcho of the mould machines who spoke to us for ages about the processes and improvements that they have made over the years - I jokingly said at one point "Oh your the chap who puts the mould lines in?"

He look genuinly upset and slightly crestfallen by that remark and responded "We..we spend a lot of time and effort trying to stop that from happening"

Which made me feel bad!

Let's see if we can find him again this year.

"Hello again. I still have mould lines. Discuss!"

I might ask why the plastic seems to be getting softer - just to get more detail or because it's cheaper.

Oh if anyone is going but doesn't want the Sorcerer model I will nab it off you for beer tokens. I have a real reason to not go now anyway since the 26th would have been my fathers birthday and well... still need to go see him.

lol, i said something similar to Alessio Cavatore just after the chaos dex was released: "so your the guy that f*©k%d over my army?"

i stopped going a couple of years back - all i ever got out of it was a light wallet, a days worth of suffering other people's bad hygiene and a walk around a convention centre not managing to get near enough to any participation tables, all to get at full price something two months earlier than i could get cheaper than on here!

i think next year i may spend that weekend at my local store and maybe there will be fewer 5 year olds in my way!
