[H]25 years of assorted stuff [W]Cash [UK only]

Absolute ton of stuff, there’s some gems in here eg Specialist Games and Juan Diaz Daemonettes so although it’s long, worth reading. Note - nothing is Finecast. There’s still lots to come including Blood Bowl & Warhammer Quest stuff. If you have any questions let me know (here or PM)! Games Work...

Re: January 2016 Painting Contest!

In theory I am selling my house and finishing moving out over the next two weeks (waiting for exchange to happen, but I agreed to the date they proposed) so I think this will be difficult, however, I do have in mind something very simple so I'll drop that in later just to start the new year on the r...

Re: Specialist Games Return!

I don't think we'll see SG in the form they existed before. I think it'll be self-contained sets like BaC, Space Hulk, Dreadfleet, Execution etc Which is fine because the games aren't left hanging unsupported. Personally though, if a board game costs £95, it needs to be solid gold gameplay and get t...

Re: Fitness plateau that I can't get out of.

I've lost over 15kg this year purely on diet (no exercise at all!). It was using a specific diet program (Forever Living C9 programme followed by their F1 programme), but the primary tactics of it are cut down salt, saturated fat, sugar and a little bit of calories (in your case topping out at the 1...

Re: Destroyer weapons

Versus infantry, if unit under blast template has say 3 figures under, roll 3 times on D table, if say get 3 rolls of 4 each causing D3+1 wounds, is this for the unit or just the 3 models? If roll high with all 3 could.I.possibly inflict 12 hits on an orc boyz unit? A roll on the Destroyer table on...

Re: Bored with it now

I suspect part of the issue with AoS boredom is that GW have launched Faction A, then Faction B primarily. Notice that many other games try to launch with 4 factions because that's what they believe you need to create good hype. Yes, AoS already has some legacy factions, but from a marketing and hyp...

Re: New WFB Up for Advance Order

No points values?
No army selection?
Amateur dramatic rules?

Nah.

I'll play Darklands for a game of this particular scale, but otherwise Malifaux, X-wing and Batman thanks. No moustaches required.

Re: Cultist convertion

Personally I would use round bases because I think it looks nicer to have them match up, but 99% of people won't care one bit, so whatever floats your boat.

Re: Salute 2015

Yep, last year Phil suffered as he discovered X-wing (as did I, but I just haven't had the opportunity to drop £££ on it yet).

Looking to find a demo game of Batman while I'm there. Not sure if I'll be buying much apart from the FW event minis though.

Re: Star Wars Armarda and Scum & Villainy

That's cool, I'm not in a hurry to grab more x-wing stuff right now so I'm happy to wait and use it as an excuse to get other stuff eventually ;)

Re: Star Wars Armarda and Scum & Villainy

Hey Gav, can I go on a Millennium Falcon waiting list (I'll pick up some other stuff once you get hold of one ;) )?
