Look sorry if I upset some of you (obviously I did)... And thanks to the guys that actualy answered my post. Not got a problem with you lot... I expressed I wasn't happy with the system. Got some answers and big thanks for that. I also showed I wasn't the only one that didn't like it by posting a fr...

Re: First Warhammer 8th edition Game.

Well, Frothers over the years always made me feel welcome, and speak their mind (don't get me wrong, it's not perfect). Which I like, and 'I' think Frothers is a good forum (IMO)... And so far they have made me feel more welcome that this one tbh lol. And I think this is because you guys seem nice, ...

Re: Avatars of War

the point is to look very similar tho so it fits in neatly with the rest of the persons collection.. Avatars aren't going for original pieces, what they are doing is making alternative character models for people who want there armies to look a little different.. I know what you are saying... It's ...

Re: Avatars of War

I would like him to come up with something original as he would do really well... Instead of just ripping of GW IP! He has allot of talent... But ffs sculpt something original! Problem is a lot of 'original' stuff equates to 'indy' stuff - ergo to be totally original it won't sit in a common game s...

Re: First Warhammer 8th edition Game.

Pretty much hated all the close combat now... It's ok, I don't need to give it another go lol... I've been playing WFB since 1989, I know when it's poo... But perhaps thats the problem, I've played it for so long, I should probably play something else! A few mates have suggested some fantasy rules, ...

Re: Avatars of War

Well sculpted, nice scale. Look gorgeous. A bit pricey, although so is GW. I'm suprised GW let him get away with 'some' of his sculpts though as they are a total rip off of the GW stuff... I would like him to come up with something original as he would do really well... Instead of just ripping of GW...

First Warhammer 8th edition Game.

So, me and a mate played our first game of 8th edition yesterday. 2000 pts Choas vs my Vamps. It was close but I just managed to get the upper hand... But while playing we both realised one thing.... We hate the new system.... It's really bad :( I'm just pleased I didn't waste my money on GW minis a...

Re: GAMES WORKSHOP M'BRO STINKS!

Come on GW you make good models. Why not good shops??????????????? :( Do they? lol Over priced crap mostley... Although it always did smell in the shop, ever wonder where the ex Key Timers went? They are buried alive under the floor. You can smell the rotting flesh of past staff members who ...

Re: Dwarf Berserker Lord

Looks great. What's the detailng and definition like on the mantic models compared to GW ones? On this one, it's definately on par if not better than the GW ones. In particular I liked the muscle tone, unlike GW's which seem to make all there dwarf minis fat b*st*rds... It's sculpted by Kev White o...

Re: Vampire Lord WIP

I'm only really painting it in sections as painting the filigree swirles on the armour plates takes so lond.. I'd probably feel like I wasn't getting anywhere with it if I hadn't. I'm enjoying it though... Unfortunately though my rank and file are looking... well... rank lol.

Dwarf Berserker Lord

Just finished painting this for Mantic Games... Total painting time was about 6-7 hours... http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/7502/manticdwarfberfin6.jpg I went for White Undercoat which makes a change for me as I usually use Black. And I enjoyed painting the tattoos :D Sculpor is Ke...

Vampire Lord WIP

Haven't been on for a while as I was off getting married and stuff... :D Anyhoo I thought I'd pop some WIP photos on of the Vampire Lord I'm working on at the moment. I was gonna do Ogre Kingdoms, but decided against it when I found out about the cheap Ghouls and Skellies Mantic Games make. This wil...
