Re: Warhammer 40k 9th Ed...who’s in?

im considering the necrons so that i can dabble with small games of 40k / kill team. Weve been bitten hard by Titanicus and Aeronautica, but it would be nice to play a few games at 28mm. Plus the new models look sweet so far.

Re: Adeptus Titanicus! TITANS! TITANS TITANS!

**raises hand** Looks like I've been sucked back in as well. Lots gone on in the past year or so (feels like forever ago), so expect a catchup post soon. Epic was my gateway into gaming, so I just had to get my hands on the new shiny titans :) Cant wait for this weekend to come round! Thankfully Lis...

Star Wars Destiny

Lis and II just picked this up and have had a couple of games with the Starter Set(s). It's quite well paced and easy to pick up, but can already see that there is scope for some quite deep strategy in deck-building. Wondered if anyone else has been playing it - does it have long term playability wi...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

Looks really good - may have to seek advice when I get round to the Ratmen Bloodbowl teams :) Been plowing through my X-Wing stuff - got a couple of tournaments in the next few weeks and want to take a repainted fleet. Haven't been able to properly narrow it down yet though... http://www.age...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

cheers :) took it into my head to repaint an x-wing b-wing the same color, as it matches the prototype B that Hera flew in Rebels. That should be done tonight hopefully, and Im planning to make a start on my 2 YT-2400s so that they match my VCX-100s. A lot of the lists I want to try are a mix of vcx...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

Thanks BDA. Haven't used it properly yet, but have a gaming session pencilled in hopefully this weekend, where we'll be trying out our live streaming setup :) Really like those pics Angelwing. There's a definite 'style' to them. I've also managed to finish up my Humans for Bloodbowl as well. I went ...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

so..... after getting sidetracked by a million and one things (it's always the 'one' thing that takes the time), I managed to get 'phase one' of the gaming table put together. table_02.png table_01.png This version is made up of two Ikea Kallax cubes on castors. Each has a 2*4 sheet of 18mm MDF atta...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

Nice :) I think I've got about 18 ruskies and an AT gun to do then I'll have a full 1000pt list painted. The plan is to post pics once they are done. First time I'll have painted a fully planned army in almost forever. (Feel free to harass me if they arent done by next week!). I've also settled on p...

Re: 2017 project log for everyone

They look grand :) In non-painting related news, I now have all the materials for my gaming table build bar the top-sheet. I'm going for a 4ft square main table, that will extend to 6*4 as well as having some storage underneath. I had hoped to get the table-top in the car to get it home, but the mea...
