Doh! Should have seen that coming. I'll have a chat with my I.Fist colleague (who suffered along side me) and see if I can draw something up. I think the term "wholesale slaughter" would be an understatement! Azreal even fell before drawing his sword!

Okay Herne - what's a batrep? New to all these acronyms! Chromedog - thanks, all comments welcome! I have seen a number of minis over the years using nmm, but always been to scared to try in case I screw up. Finally decided to take the plunge after reading a few guides. Glad I did, as the gold does ...

Hey Herne, Yep, checked my list, and with all the extras (assault cannons, cyclone launchers, etc), it comes in at 1495pts! Got a games against demons on Monday (300pts). I'm teaming up with an Imperial Fists player who has a very heavy firebase. I'll be looking to have some fun up close and personal!

I have not played Bloodbowl since I was about 15! The rules must have changed several times since then. And since I was rubbish then I can't imagine I'll be any better now. And what about the star players, cheerleaders and all the extras I seem to remember that came out as seperate supplements? Coul...

Re: termies

Not sure off the top of my head - somewhere near the 1500pt mark. I'll check when I get back from holiday on Saturday. I only have one HQ and the tactical squad is a 5 man combat squad IIRC - which is why I can cram it all in to 1500pts.

Re: Nmm

well done fella - now stop it - you're making the rest of us look bad![/quote] Thanks, Herne, I think! As I say, I don't believe I am a particularly good painter, tabletop at best! I think your right in your assessment of the silver - maybe I need to have a deeper, wider "shadow" moving quickl...

If everyone thinks it looks like a good stone hammerhead, then I could always say it was meant to be a stone hammerhead! We're all friends here, I'm sure you would back me up!
Thanks for the comments though - you're all so nice!!

Actually it's the hammerhead (yep - I thought it looked too stoney), the top of the haft, the eagles (chest and pauldron), left pauldron trim, the studs on the leather straps, the caps on the scroll on the left leg. I am not sure how to improve the "stone" look silver, but I am reasonably happy with...

First NMM

Okay peeps, I have just finished my first NMM model and I would like a little feedback - preferably with a few tips (even if it's "by God, please stop painting!"). I would not profess to be a particularly good painter, but I would like to improve a bit.

Thanks a lot

Craig
