Re: "I Love World of Tanks", and a surprise :)

12 hours? That's dedication! I'm getting a few higher tier tanks now, so hopefully I can start earning some XP a little faster. My problem is I die too often, and the cost to repair is usually as much as the xp I earned :P.

Re: "I Love World of Tanks", and a surprise :)

75K? That would take me about a month! Possibly due to not playing too much - but mainly due to low scores :)

Re: "I Love World of Tanks", and a surprise :)

10 kill game in the Matilda, eh? And a bucket-load of credits and medals too.

I have not looked at the missions - probably should do, as I'm sure there are some neat rewards in there! What was the "I love . . ." mission?

Re: Mars Attacks

Cheers Talus - I'll bear that in mind when DBX arrives.

I could paint some Loka again, but I have other stuff that needs painting!

Re: Mars Attacks

Hi Talus, How did you find these when painting? You're Halloween entries look good, so I take it you had no issues with getting paint to adhere? I ask, as I have Dreadball Extreme coming, and these are going to be of similar construction. As I said, the few (and it is only 3 I think!) Loka I painted...

Re: PSC Late War Brit Infantry Test Model

Ok - if your not happy with those, then your standards are WAY higher than mine for 15mm figs! I'd be chuffed if my FoW troops looked that good.

Re: Halloween Special Voting Poll

If this returns in the new year I'll have to enter! I'll not get anywhere, but it'll make me paint something!

Congrats to everyone. :)

Re: Mars Attacks

I have Loka and it's the same material. It paints up fine, and I had no issues with mould lines. Having said that, I did not back Mars Attacks, so I don't know how bad they are. Hot water is your friend with these though. Dip the model in very hot water for a few seconds - it softens the plastic and...

Re: Tank Rally missions

Ah. I remember seeing that now - I just never had cause to use it. Only tried tank rally a couple of times - fun, but like driving on ice at times!

Re: 40k terrain suggestions

@ DL - ooh, you sound a little riled. If I offended, I'm sorry - it certainly wasn't my intent. It's just a personal opinion. The 40K universe has a distinct style which I feel has little variety in the buildings GW make. Mantic have followed their own style, which also has little diversity. The abi...

Re: 40k terrain suggestions

@ Darklighter - If you got the GW sets and lined the sprues up, I could not tell the difference between the Sanctum, the Basilica, or the Manufactorum. One has a pipe on the wall, and one has big doors. I think that covers it ;). I suppose it's what you are used to. The Mantic stuff is meant to be v...
