Inquisitor

Looking through GW website found 'Inquisitor' and its associated 54mm figures.

Does anyone play? I was going to give it a try in 28mm with figures I already have.

If some one does play, what would they use for the Vindicares Rifles?

Astral Aim

Help with this rule please. I understand that my Purgation squad can stay hidden and use Astral Aim to shoot anything in range (as long as Psyk roll succeeds) However, if I've got an Incinerator does the template still need to be touching the figure? If I am behind a wall can the template be place o...

This might have been asked already.

Can't get my head round the rules for the Nemesis Daemon hammer.
It says like a Thunder hammer but can't seem to understand that too.

Re: 6th Ed - White Dwarf Rules

I have read all on this thread and like every thing else in the world. It's all down to personal preference. I have been gaming for 30 years (mostly historical) and played (think it was) 2nd Ed. Got back into 40K cos my 2 boys wanted to play and i started them off on FOW/other historical. I have eno...

Re: 6th Ed - White Dwarf Rules

Or even gripping beast.

They have a new set of rules out (£25 SAGA) and an entire army of Vikings is only £33 (all metal, all super quality)

Having said that I have plenty of WH40K, but will wait and see what reviews appear for 6th Ed.
Might stick to 5th

Re: 6th Ed - White Dwarf Rules

No problem is, other companies write rules for their figures (Black Powder) at only £25 and the figures are a LOT cheaper!

Even the better metal models in 25mm (Front Rank) are only around £1-50 per figure

Re: 6th Ed - White Dwarf Rules

Not got my WD yet, subscribers seem to get it later!

As i play in a small group might just stick to 5th Ed.

Are all the codex's going to be changing again for 6th Ed????

If they are that bad, for a Sci-fi game I'll go back to Stargrunt

Re: Grey Knight Attacks

Thanks for all the replys.

Can't see any point having swords either, may as well take the halberd to get the +2 I

Think the Falchions should get the +1A and the +1 for second Close cobat to make it worth while

Re: Grey Knight Attacks

Thanks for that It is the Terminators I am on about I thought the Storm bolter counted as a close combat too (but doesn't count with halberd as it is 2 handed), so with sword you got +1 for a 2nd close combat weapon As for Falchions I thought it was +1 attack as per rules for 2 close combat weapons ...

Grey Knight Attacks

Can I just check how many attacks Grey Knights get? Am I right in the following? Grey Knight with Falchions in a unit with a brotherhood banner gets the following in combat- Standard 2 attacks,+1 for the banner +1 for the 2 combat weapons, +1 Falchion bonus giving 5 attacks? With Halberd- Standard 2...

Grey Knight Weapons

Grey Knight with Multiple melee Nemesis weapons only roll to activate after first wound is inflicted.

Does this mean the weapon inflicting the hit doesn't count as active?

Also if the unit has a brother hood banner how does this effect it? Does this mean all weapons hit as is active?

Thanks

Power weapons

Hi

Can anyone please tell me how you deal with a figure armed with a power weapon that assaults a vehicle?

Do you roll to hit, and then as they ignore armour saves on figures do you just roll on damage table?

Thanks

Re: Battle Missions

Thanks for the replies.

I will get him to re-allocate the points for the vehicle.

Least my 15 orks wont get too worried!!

We were only going to have 2 aside and play a few games in one afternoon. Make a change from our usual bigger games
