The 12" tile was cut into quarters diagonally so that the pieces could be repositioned like this; http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i146/nitedesk/Terrain/woods009.jpg Then the woods could border a marsh area; http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i146/nitedesk/Terrain/woods01...

Thanks both! @ Matt, that's a good thought. I am trying to keep the tiles as flat as possible to make them stackable, but I like the idea of adding some marsh grass to the terrain. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks! So, to continue a little bit, here is a 12" area of woods; http://i71.photo...

I like the chequered flooring - it's something I might try next..did you just paint it on or do something else? Thank you. I just painted the floor then I used a black marker to dr...

John's Modulars

Well, this is my first ever project log so bear with me :oops: Lord M shamed me into posting some pics of my work. I am making my terrain modular because I don't have the space to leave a board set up permanantly right now. The terrain pieces are based on 12" square boards. Some have been cut in hal...

Just one.

Of course, you have to use only a Citadel brand lightbulb that you can get from mail order and a copy of Codex:Light.

You would then have to get a copy of Codex:Socket/Receptacle to properly play the game :lol:

Um...defending? Waiting for the enemy? Checking their weapons and ammo stores? Praying? Cursin...

Re: Little bit of funny.

1. To find a good woman you need Time and Money, therefore: Woman = Time x Money Uh, shouldn't this be Woman = Time + Money as in simple arithmetic AND is equivalent to addition? After all, 1 and 1 = 2, 2 and 3 = 5, etc. It's gets more complex when you move to bitwise arithmetic, but it's still not...

5. Therefore;

Woman = (√Problems)²

or

Woman = Problems

Just a quick correction, money is the root of all trouble so therefore;

Even when women are not a problem, they are still trouble :wink:

Okay! Now I got it! Well, for an artillery range, you could put together a wooden shed or covered pit with unexploded ordnance in it. Call it dangerous also. On a failed dangerous terrain roll, it explodes catastrophically destroying itself and all within a certain radius (or you could use one of th...

The Weapons Range we have is constructed with a large earth berm (a big hill) to catch expended rounds. In front of the berm are racks that hold paper targets and the related machinery that raises/lowers and turns the targets. Something like that would be interesting. Also, the earth on the berm is ...
