The chart is still wrong. Seeing how there are enough proadvocates of RAW and ignore intent - you must remove the >= subject. WBB is only denied ( not counting cc situations ) if the source IS twice the model's toughness. If we remove an Orb from the example below: A Necron Warrior would not get...

Give me a tip, is it better to put the pin in the model or the arm first? I find that it is better to put the pin in the arm first. Then I put a little "pea" of blue tac in the shoulder socket (well, mine's actually brown, but the same idea). Then when I press the arm into place, the pin (I use cut...

Well, not really a break from this game, but a break from dice games none the less. I played Avalon Hill games back in the late 60s to early 70s (games like Tobruk, France 1940, Starship Troopers and others) had to take a break when best friend/playing partner died and I starting working full time. ...

I edited the flowchart to include the Monolith. Thanks for everyone's input! Will let you know how the first battle goes.

Good point! I remembered the Lord and the Spyder but forgot about the Monolith. Give me a day or so and I'll work it into the matrix. Nice catch, thanks!

Helps quite a bit! I'll update and clean it up. 8) Many thanks, I plan on keeping this page handy during play. Should help. @jlong05-I agree that they should. WBB is convoluted enough, it jumps from condition to condition. I was trying to put it in some sort of logical sequence. @Lord Malek, Thanks ...

Necron WBB clarified

This is not quite a rules question, more of a clarification. Playing against Necrons for the first time next week, and after reading the codex, and Q&A on a variety of forums, is the following correct? NECRON WBB FLOWCHART Necron model (except Necron Lord) is destroyed A-Is it's unit within 6” o...

Looking at top of pg 18 in Apoc RB, it would appear tha you can take any number of units from any codex, ignore any restrictions on any limitations, and take any number of legendary units and or battle formations. The only limitation is on unit sizes, so you couldn't for example have a tac squad of ...

I am at Age of Strife. It is where Tim is so that is a huge plus. Everyone there seems to be adult and we can discuss rules without the silliness. By that I mean that we can point out exactly what the rules say even when it doesn't make sense and then try to find a work around. It has been said tha...

It looks very similar to this; http://www.hirstarts.com/ruin/ruin.html but it's not an exact match. With the mold though, you could probably construct exactly what you are looking for. The mold costs $34 which isn't all that more expensive than the finished piece. However, you were asking about the ...

Wouldn't you also follow the drop pod rules from the SM codex? The only changes would be the ones specified. The point cost is higher, and it looks like there is no option for a deathwind, other than that, the BS and armor are identical. I can argue as well as the next fellow if I feel that I am rig...

I like how the smiley is facing the sniper. I guess there's no doubt about who will be having the nice day!
Gives me an interesting idea for my SM scouts with their sniper rifles!
