Gah! Thread-jacked! Bad form man - go start your own project thread!

That aside - nice work. I considered the piled rubble around the foot of the buildings too, and may yet add it. It's wether I can be bothered now.... :D

So sorry Herne. Didn't realise it was a personal blogg type thing. Please accept my grovelling worming apology as I prostrate myself in front of you awaiting your Devine forgiveness! ;-)

On a more serious note. As I said in my post earlier. I agree with you that a lot of the buildings seen tend to be small and drab. All greys and blacks. And very little room for units to clash across.
my next one will be a mechanicus factory and have been looking at some sort of steel decking for the flooring. Your silver floor idea come to life. :-)

You both have given me a lot of food for thought!
I have a few ruis done, but admittedly they are in the black/gray/drab category.
Since I need a break from my army, this may be a good time to "spruce up the house" as it were.

Apology accepted. Now get up. You're making the place look a mess. We only prostrate on Fridays! :P

That's what I'm aiming for. I'm thinking of involving a lot of rust and metal with paint peeling for the walls of mine. I've built a two tier rhino production facility with a gantry walkway around the second tier so servitors could easily access the higher areas of a rhino or land-raider. I've also converted the walls to have two large garage doors at each end and a rounded finish to one end, as I'm also tired of all the buildings being squares and rectangles. :)

I have been looking at collecting stuff so that I could make a power station. Think that would make a very good objective within a game. Destroy the power plant scenario. Would look at making it over two two foot boards so it would sit nicely on a six foot board.

Have also been looking at the validity of making a board that would be an underground complex. Corridors and storage rooms witha central command centre??
