Tyrannid bits help!

Postby ruffian4 » Mon Feb 18, 2013 8:29 am

I've gone back to getting some more stuff done for Pox Vobiscum, my nurgle renegade guard + death guard + associated plaguey stuff.

At the mo, I'm building a couple of enclosed basilisk/colossus type things, but envious eyes are wandering off toward a blight drone or two.
Thinking about using nid bits as a base, for a less mechanical, more daemony type thing.

This is a pic of the forgeworld kits, curtesy of Slipwing.

This lot below, are a few bits I'm thinking of cobbling together, they are bits of fex/tyrannofex and tervigon. Thing is, I'm a little unsure as to the scale of this stuff, anyone help out?

Sort of the "spawning" thing as torso, fex carapace as "top/back" tail as, well tail, the fex pod things as possible fly type eyeballs.
Not scared of a little green stuff work but are these bits way out of scale???

Idea sounds grand.. shame they don't do a fantasy range giant/skellington you could really do with something to piffle a giant thigh bone off.
Some pics the web provided, might help..might be horribly inaccurate.
Barely even lurking..

Cheers!
Might hold off for a while though, as the rumour mill says daemons soon, including "nurgle plague drones."
Plaguebearers on flies have been talked about ...

I've probably got a load of these bits in my bitz box if you want them.

I'll check the bitz box, to make sure my memory isn't fuzzy first. However, we'll call it a couple of drinks when next we meet.
