Really not much going on, struggling to buy some cheap spooky chariots for my demons..want something like the tombkings ones (for street value rather than
GW made up value) but keep getting sniped by pennies and can't be bothered to rush around.
All in storage, and now realised lost in storage..trying to find one of my 7 drop pods took me 3 hours and still no joy.
Wrote a thing to apologise to the wife (same as in thoughts of week thread but FB version was a bit tidier)
An ode to poeing off my wife
I glanced out to dark foreboding treeline through the rain,
the worn ravage of time showed, wrapping me in pain
as I lay back lamenting the absence of my dear lenore
Tuesday the most drab by any measure,
she would be out in those gales for hours my sweet treasure.
Bored and so wracked, I looked to that opiate druidium shore
For sweet dreams of my dear absent Lenore.
Tick tock, tick tock ,Twas the hour of the jackel and stoat
when fear descended clutching clutching grabbing by the throat.
Torn from those sweet dreams , by baleful, categorically, screams.
Leave me spirit, why wake me from my druidium shore,
where I might be with my sweet lenore
Quoth the spirit .... .... ....
But setting back my head heavily through my pillow,
I was awakened by what by then I believe to be an internal bellow
A tap tap tapping surely logic dictated from within my brain.
Quoth the sickness ... ... ...
But again my eyes shut tight,
a thundering bash bash bashing, upon my chambers window pane.
I rushed to the window to confront the demon,
but there was my sweetest leather jacketed cat soggy from the rain.
Bleary eyed weak and weary..I stared into the face of my absent lenore
.. as she climbed through my windowdoor like some lithe ethereal thing,
seemingly not caring that we were on the second floor
(reminiscing me back to that dark film entitled "the ring").
I awaited whatever apocalyptic beast was about to be unleashed,
or what treasures only in hell they can deliver and feast.
Quoth the hell cat...
You left your keys in the bloody front door [/smack.]
And my sweetest lenore didst leave for the couch.
I also bought some scenery from pets@home, they have a 3 for 2 offer on so this lot cost me £24 and is quite nice.
