Great piece of work Morty!

Paint job is very well done. :D
Good choice of colors too, you can be proud of this one. 8)

So seriously, are you thinking of selling a few? If so, for how much? Naturally, blinged but unpainted.

I echo this question. No need to paint it, but designed and blinged would be a plus!

Awsome work, if I didn't know better, and just saw it sat there, I would think it was a FW model.

May 2009

Started a new project - its early days still but it is shaping up quite nicely.

I'm a little worried (too late to do anything now) about the size of the model - I think it might be scaled slightly too small. Can anyone check for me - I don't own the real deal to check / compare against.

Looks just like a Leman Russ!
From the top to bottom including tracks = 5cm
Front to back = 11.7cm
Very close to what you have here.

Now Im off to read the rest of this thread, keep up the good work.

I know it might be a bit late now, but I reckon the tracks would look alot better if you replaces the joiny bits (can't remember the technical name for them) with some plastic rod that you cut in half? to make it a bit more three dimensional. And remember that you only have to do that on the visible parts.

Thanks for the various tips regarding the tracks links / guards - I'll try these ideas out on the next set of tracks I build.

The current build is going well mainly built - just trying to work out how best to make all weapons movable in the the various sponsons / turrets and also interchangable so I can represent all the varients. I'll try to get an update / progress photo up.
