26th june mini meet approx 20 people... and the main meet (of 9 people unless king is going to suddenly spring a mini van of people who all end sentances with "like") is 5 weeks later?
Last mini one tried was an autumn/winter october/november thing wasn't it? To fall between the rather large gap between summer and spring.
That said if all peeps are looking for some games short to medium term cool....

Bit too far for me doing a day trip. It's and easier journey, but it's almost as far as Nottingham.

It's not that far from Sooomersarrt. Just load up with cider and your in car entertainment (guys blowing on jugs) and you are all set.

When I say "my other Group", membership is more like a group of friends, there is normally 4 of us who infrequently play (once a month at most - though been a couple of months now since last meet up).

One of the guys lives in Leicester and the other 2 in Northampton; We meet up in Adrian's Garage/Lockup behind his house.
My next scheduled visit up to Nothampton is on the 23rd May - havn't yet planned anything.

Progress Update:
Have emailed the Hall and awaiting confirmation of available dates between 12th/19th/26th June.

Got a dozen confirmations from the Armageddon Club of interest:
PaddyF
lostandthedamned
SalamanderDan
Ogregut
Iceman99
BigJim
Jimster
TheColonel
Freddie the fist
Thunderlord
CheeseNinja

So adding AoS interest:
Baragash + Phil
mattgilbert + wolflord + 4
mortiferum
Ph4lanx
Socaddict
General_Lee?
Spack?

Looks like an event is doable - will chase Hall confirmation on Monday evening.

Just got an email back from the Hall.
It looks like the 19th June is the only Saturday that is free of the three dates.
With Hire from 11am onwards.

How does the 19th fit for everyone?

Sadly a no-go for me, I'm going to a gig that day. Dunno about Phil though.

I don't think Ljundhammer and I can make it.
However we did have a mini mini mini AOS get together last night, 5 hours, 3 games of 1750, some appalling battlemissions that led to much fist shaking, but also an awful lot of lolz.
